First, you may think that it is like the citrus diet, but it is not, it is different. There are different details about these 2 diets and you should respect them and treat them according to the instructions.
If you want to lose several pounds then you need to repeat this diet regime for more than 5 days, let’s say up to 3 times more, that is 15 days in a row.
However, if you like to lower your weight for over 7 pounds, then you need to make a break after those 3 times, for example, you have 15 days of diet regime and then you rest for 15 days, then repeat the same.
This diet is called cardiac because it was given to people who had some heart problems and needed to lower their weight before going to surgery, however not lowering their strength in this process.
However, if you have a heart problem, go to your doctor first!
How does it work?
This diet is efficient because it is very low in calories. However, it is really important to eat healthy after you finish with it because otherwise the weight will come back, also known as the yo-yo effect.
In this diet you are allowed to consume fruits and vegetables, fish and whole grains, while you should avoid sugar, trans and saturated fats and too much sodium.

- 200 g of fish or chicken

- 500 g of cooked vegetables

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You can season the vegetables and meet with some spice or herbs.
- You should prepare the meat on Teflon pan in order to lower the fat.
- Instead of fresh tomatoes you can also use cooked.
- You should never skip the meal.
- Drink a lot of water, for example, 2-3 liters in one day.
- You should consume the foods on the list in the quantity and order specified above.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
You may be feeling hungry or not energized enough. Also, a headache is possible to occur too.
